vocational education was launched on Tuesday 23rd February at a
reception on the House of Commons Terrace.
UK Skills was invited to present evidence to the Skills
Commission on its finding and recommendations for building the
capacity of vocational teachers to meet the highest international
standards, and its piloting of an MA in Coaching and Management
Learning in partnership with the Brathay Trust and the University
of Cumbria.
Simon Bartley, Chief Executive, UK Skills and WorldSkills London
2011 said: "By hosting WorldSkills London 2011, the UK has
set itself the challenge of demonstrating the quality of the UK's
