Floristry or flower arranging is the creative art of designing and arranging flowers into bouquets and displays.

A florist needs to have an eye for design and colour, and the ability to cut, treat and arrange flowers so that they remain fresh for as long as possible. Knowledge of forming wreaths and complicated arrangements is also essential.

Flowers are a key part of many formal occasions and a florist will provide arrangements for a wide range of important events such as weddings and funerals. Many florists progress to running their own shops and an understanding of managing a business will help them to do this successfully.

Who helped influence you to become a Florist?

Actually, no one influenced me really as I had wanted to be a florist since kindergarten. I love nature and love working with flowers.
